A Community Event Center

Trinity Commons is a community-facing event and education center for the people of Greater Cleveland offering programming that inspires, nourishes, and celebrates the sacred in all people. Built in 2002, Trinity Commons contains meeting and program space for nonprofit, corporate and community groups throughout greater Cleveland. Trinity Cathedral’s community vision is to be A Sacred Place for All People, and the Commons is an essential doorway to all, regardless of faith or background.

The leadership of Trinity Cathedral is currently redeveloping Trinity Commons as:

  • A place for Programming that Inspires and Transforms, including events, classes, and exhibits that foster spiritual growth and exploration.
  • A space for Relationships that Heal the City, bringing together neighborhood, civic, diocesan, and university partners to offer programs that build relationships beyond boundaries and offer activities on and beyond the campus of Trinity Commons.
  • A Gathering Place of the Beloved Community, a place to explore our history, dismantle racism and model a community of equity and creativity. We will offer education, relationship-building and engagement around urgent issues, including equity & prosperity, creation care & environmental justice, and civic renewal. We will model a community of nonviolent transformation inclusive of all faiths and none at all.
  • A place where Neighbors Serve Neighbors, where we address urgent community needs and pursue opportunities for hands-on collaboration and service.
