The Proposed Feast of Thurgood Marshall
The Episcopal Diocese of Washington has initiated a resolution to include Thurgood Marshall, former Supreme Court Justice and civil rights leader, in the Episcopal Church's liturgical calendar. Read the article in that diocese's publication, The Washington Window. At Trinity Cathedral, we will support this recognition of Marshall by observing the May 14 Evensong in his memory. The date proposed for Marshall's feast is May 17, the anniversary of his victory in the landmark desegregation case Brown vs. Board of Education. Trinity Worship Schedule...
