Poor People's March at Trinity
Sunday, June 6, noon

On June 5-8, the Poor Peoples' Economic Human Rights Campaign March will come through Cleveland. On Sunday, June 6 at noon, Trinity will host a lunch for the marchers. (Volunteers are needed to help, please talk with Curate Will Mebane, or with Debbie Hunter, Cathedral Council Peace and Justice Committee chair.) The Poor People's Economic Human Rights Campaign march began on April 4, which was Easter Sunday and the anniversary of Martin Luther King's assassination. The march, dedicated to fulfilling Dr. King's dream of eradicating poverty, continues the legacy of Dr. King's 1968 Poor People's Campaign which was cut short by his assassination. Interact, an interfaith group of which Trinity is a part, is hosting the march in Cleveland.
