The Rev. Judith Alexis

The Rev. Judith Alexis is a recent graduate of The Episcopal Theological Seminary in the Southwest who joined the staff of Trinity in 2006 as curate, a three-year training program for new priests. Judith's ministry at Trinity includes work with A Place at the Table, our ministry for the hungry and homeless in downtown Cleveland, and facilitation of two knitting groups. Prior to her ordination, she served the Haitian community in Southeast Florida working on immigration and education issues as well as a youth director and Sunday school teacher in many of the area's Haitian congregations.

Judith is a recent graduate of The Episcopal Theological Seminary in the Southwest. She is the child of Haitian parents who emigrated from the Republic of Congo/Zaire; she grew up spending the school year in Haiti and summers in New York City. Judith speaks English, French and Creole.
