Ministry to the World
Career Management Group
This program provides professional assistance in career assessment, job search methods for traditional employment, and for those seeking to explore an entrepreneurial track. This service is for those in the Trinity community and in the Diocese of Ohio who do not have access to traditional outplacement services, or whose service with an outplacement organization has ended.
Episcopal Community Services
ECS is a foundation of the Diocese of Ohio that annually makes grants to social service programs and activities provided by or closely associated with the parishes of our diocese.
Volunteers are needed to conduct and coordinate with ECS the annual fundraising campaign that takes place during Lent.
Marion Sterling School Project
The Cathedral supports our local elementary school by tutoring students, arranging for special collections of supplies, clothing and holiday food, and working on special projects with the school students and staff.
Music and Performing Arts at Trinity Cathedral
M&PA is a multi-disciplinary community arts organization that produces a free Wednesday Brownbag Concert Series, in addition to creating collaborative arts programs, Medieval Feasts, and residencies throughout the community. Each season, M&PA produces or presents over 40 events in the areas of music, dance literature, theatre, and the visual arts. There are numerous volunteer opportunities, ranging from ushering at concerts, cooking and serving food, behind the scenes work and participating in many exciting programs.
Outreach Committee
This advisory committee helps to define the focus of Trinity's Outreach ministry (i.e., the ministry beyond our doors). We constantly seek ways to strengthen existing ministries and to create new ones. Educational and advocacy programs on issues of social justice are presented periodically. We also seek to broaden Trinity members' awareness of diocesan and national church programs and resources.
Sacred Path Books & Art
The diocesan bookstore seeks in-store sales volunteers. Duties include using a cash register, selling merchandise and helping with inventory. Desired qualifications: basic computer skills, ability to handle money, good with customers and a love of books. Training will be provided.
Ten Thousand Villages
This unique store sells fairly-traded handicrafts of Third World artisans, providing fair income to the unemployed and underemployed. Volunteers are needed to run the cash register, stock merchandise, and assist customers.
United Thank Offering
Sponsored by the Episcopal Church Women, the United Thank Offering supports Episcopal and Anglican mission and ministry throughout the world. Volunteers are needed to help publicize and coordinate the semi-annual offerings.
