Peace and Justice Ministries
Cross of Nails
The Community of the Cross of Nails (CCN) is an international network of
individuals and institutions dedicated to a vision of reconciliation in the
community, the nation, and the world. Grounding its work in prayer, study and
reflection, CCN's members undertake projects that seek to address conflicts over
race, religion, and sexual orientation.
Cleveland Coalition Against the Death Penalty
CCADP advocates for the repeal of the Ohio death penalty. The work of this group is particularly important due to the number of executions scheduled in the coming year. Volunteers are needed to write letters to death row inmates, help with petitions, and participate in vigils.
Green Team
"Living more lightly on the Earth" is the motto of the Trinity Green Team. Our goal is to come together to explore ways that we can all live more sustainably. As we celebrate what has already been accomplished, we will release our energy and be empowered to explore how to live sustainably as a church, as individuals, and as members of the community of living beings in the region...state... nation... and world. We are all one family in God's awesome creation!

Episcopal Peace Fellowship
Trinity members belong to this diocesan-wide chapter of a national organization
that addresses issues of peace and justice in our community and the world.
Our church is kept aware of these concerns through education, advocacy, workshops,
and parish resource centers that carry relevant materials.
Faithful Reform in Health Care
Faithful Reform in Health Care seeks to unite communities
of faith in calling for the treatment of all people as children of God and in providing each of us with healthcare.
It is a national organization headquartered in Cleveland: www.faithfulreform.org. UHCAN Ohio and Ohio consumers for Health Coverage
are statewide coalitions working to expand access to health care with a goal of providing health care to all Ohioans. (www.ohioconsumersforhealth.org)
These organizations work with many others to advocate for change that reflects the societal
value of community responsibility, we are all our brother's or sister's keepers.
