Trinity Cathedral: The Episcopal Church in Downtown Cleveland

Congregational Life

Campus Ministry
We seek to minister to the spiritual, theological and intellectual curiosities of college students by providing programs and activities that speak to their needs and concerns. Communal gatherings, outreach opportunities, and a place of refuge and calm are offered through our hospitality.

Cathedral Life Committee
This committee plans and organizes social programs and activities for the Trinity community. People with ideas for exciting and engaging activities that encourage community in the congregation are always welcome.

Children's Ministries
Trinity's lively Sunday School program begins at age 3, through 5th grade. Adults and older youth are always welcome to apply to be teachers or assistants in the Sunday morning program or for special events and programs throughout the year.

Docents and Tour Guides
The Cathedral is a wondrous place to walk around. The Docents lead tours of the Cathedral for visiting groups. It is a ministry of hospitality that shares information about Trinity's history, architecture, artwork, and current programs. Training and reading materials are provided for our volunteers.

Newcomers Committee
Plans and implements strategies to welcome and incorporate visitors, newcomers and potential members to the Cathedral. The Committee also organizes newcomer brunches and information sessions.

Newsletter
Trinity's newsletter, the Cathedral Connection, has ongoing needs for photos and news pieces. Writers, reviewers, poets and photographers may submit work for inclusion in this monthly publication, which is sent throughout the Diocese of Ohio.

Office Volunteers
Office Volunteers are needed for a variety of tasks, including printing, folding, collating, and sorting bulk mailings. They also help the staff with filing, running errands in the building, as well as sending out mailings. Volunteer on your terms.

Stewardship Committee
Members of this committee plan the year around stewardship activities of the Cathedral in order to encourage and build awareness of opportunities for sharing our time, talents, and treasures to help Trinity fulfill its mission and ministry.
