Trinity Cathedral: The Episcopal Church in Downtown Cleveland

Congregational Life

Campus Community - "Agape"
Agape is an intentional student community on the Cleveland State University campus that provides a safe place to love God, love others and live Christ in a radically welcoming way. The community meets several times a week for worship, conversation and more. Volunteers are needed to help with programs.

Cathedral Life Committee
This committee plans and organizes intergenerational social programs and activities for the Trinity community and assists small groups with their activities. People with ideas for exciting and engaging activities that encourage community in the congregation are welcome. Extra hands are always needed for set-up, decorating, serving and clean up.

Children's Ministries
Children's Ministries includes our nursery for babies and toddlers (up to age 4), Sunday School programs for pre-school through 5th grade and special events for children throughout the year. We seek adult and teen volunteers who love children.

Docents and Tour Guides
The Cathedral is a wondrous place to walk around. The Docents lead tours of the Cathedral for visiting groups. It is a ministry of hospitality that shares information about Trinity's history, architecture, artwork, and current programs. Training and reading materials are provided for our volunteers.

Medieval Feasts Committee
The Medieval Feasts committee plans and coordinates the December Medieval Feasts. The Feasts are a fund raising event that supports the Free Wednesday Brownbag Concerts. Volunteers are needed to help prepare and serve the Feasts.

Meditation Booklets
The people of Trinity Cathedral create meditation booklets each year for the seasons of Advent and Lent. Writers, artists and photographers of all ages and from all parts of the Trinity community to contribute to this ministry.

Stewardship Committee
Members of this committee plan the year-round stewardship activities of the Cathedral in order to encourage and build awareness of opportunities for sharing our time, talents, and treasures to help Trinity fulfill its mission and ministry. In addition to coordinating the fall pledge campaign, Stewardship Committee members oversee stewardship education initiatives including forums, newsletter items, and participation in offsite workshops.
