Ongoing Groups

Praying the Lord's Prayer in Aramaic with Body, Mind and Spirit
Begins Monday January 7, 6:00 - 7:30 pm

In this ongoing study series, Roxanne WhiteLight will introduce participants to the Aramaic language, native Middle Eastern spirituality and the history of other similar Jewish prayers. Each week, the group will reflect on one line of the Lord's Prayer by discussing meaning, learning the Aramaic words to be recited or sung, and practicing a simple body prayer intended to help the prayer move from the intellect into the heart of being.

Roxanne WhiteLight has a doctoral degree in ministry with an emphasis in creation spirituality. She has 25 years of experience as educator, spiritual director, retreat leader and therapist. She is a labyrinth facilitator and a priest in the independent Catholic tradition.

The book for this series, Prayers of the Cosmos by Neil Douglas-Klotz, is available at Sacred Path Books & Art.
